Veronika Safrankova
Director, International Relation Office, Charles University in Prague (Czech Republic)
Hunt Šafránková has been working for Charles University since 2015. Currently she works as policy advisor based in Warsaw and is mainly involved in coordination of activities of 4EU European university alliance. Until 2017 she was Director of International Relations Office, responsible for internationalization, including international bilateral university co-operation, Erasmus+ programme, participation in international university associations and networks, co-operation with international organisations, etc. Before joining the University, Veronika worked for public administration from 2000 to 2014 in the field of international environmental affairs.
At the Czech Ministry of Environment, she held different positions - director, director general and deputy minister, responsible for a number of areas from EU relations and EU funds to overall international agenda including multilateral environmental agreements and relations with international organisations, strategic and policy work in the field of environment and sustainable development and negotiating Czech positions to new EU environmental legislation in the EU Council.
