Waldemar Siwiński

Founder and president of the Perspektywy Education Foundation and vice president of IREG Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence. Initiator of projects for the quality of education – among other professional rankings of schools and universities and the international "Study in Poland" program run jointly by the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland (KRASP) and  "Perspektywy" Education Foundation

Waldemar Siwiński has extensive experience in the media - he was among others founder and editor-in-chief of Bajtek, the first Polish mass magazine devoted to computers. He managed the Polish Press Agency (PAP), he was a member of the board of the European Alliance of News Agencies (EANA) and the European Press Photo Agency (EPA). Author of numerous texts on education and science, including a book on the Chernobyl disaster. A graduate of the Faculty of Electronics at Warsaw University of Technology, he completed postgraduate diplomatic studies.
