You can submit candidates’ applications for the best foreign student in Poland for the 9th edition of the INTERSTUDENT competition until December 14. We want to award international students who build cooperation between cultures and enrich the Polish academic environment. The competition is organized as part of the "Study in Poland" program. Over 70,000 foreigners are currently studying at Polish universities. The Competition Jury Board will select the best foreign students among those studying at Polish public and non-public universities, for the categories of undergraduate, graduate and doctoral studies.
The condition for participation in the competition is social, ecological, sports activity in the local student environment and good results in science or participation in interesting research projects.
Candidates’ applications may be submitted by their professors, mentors, university authorities, foreign cooperation offices, student self-governments as well as colleagues.
We know from the experience of previous editions that the winners of the competition are excellent "ambassadors" of the university they are studying and our country. Publicizing the competition and the profiles of winners by the media gives the University an excellent opportunity to present their achievements in the internationalization process.
The INTERSTUDENT competition is organized under the Honorary Patronage of prof.Jan Szmidt, president of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland (CRASP). The Partners of the Competition are: The Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland, Student Parliament of the Republic of Poland and National Representation of PhD Students (KRD).
The final gala of the INTERSTUDENT competition will take place on January 17, 2019 in Warsaw, at Aula Kryształowa of Warsaw University of Life Sciences SGGW, during the conference "Foreign Students in Poland 2019".
