"Study in Poland" project was established on the grounds of the agreement signed by the "Perspektywy" Foundation, the Conference of Rectors of Academic Scools in Poland (kRASP) and the Conference of Rectors of Non-University Higher Schools in Poland (KRZaSP). The project is administrated by the "Perspektywy" Foundation - a non profit organization. The goal of "Study in Poland" is to promote Polish higher education abroad in cooperation with other organizations in the field of education.
Aigerim Balkhashbayeva from Kazakhstan (SWPS University), Safoura Reza from Afghanistan / France (Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences), Włodzimierz Lewoniewski from Belarus (Poznan University of Economics), Justyna Pordzik from Germany (Warsaw Medical University), Snehalbhai Patel from India (Silesian University of Technology) ) and Yasser Faraj from Saudi Arabia (Medical University of Silesia) are the winners of the eighth edition of the Competition for the Best Foreign Student in Poland INTERSTUDENT. The ceremony of awarding the prizes took place on January 29 during the evening gala as part of the conference "Foreign students in Poland 2018", which took place at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice.
Students from India, Ukraine, Sweden, Ethiopia, Morocco, Lithuania, Albania, Ghana, Canada, Malaysia, Turkey, Iran, Mali, Kazakhstan and the Netherlands were among the nominees for the award INTERSTUDENT 2017. The winners - the best foreign students studying in Polish universities - will be announced on 27th February. For the third time, the winner of the Most Popular Foreign Student in Poland will be selected in an open internet vote.
